The computer grades are QFVC=F, QFEV1=A. The computer FVC grade is low as none of the curves have a one-second plateau -- early termination. This is a older subject who requires more time to reach a plateau. Several curves have a short plateau and although curve #2 (green) stops at 7-seconds, the FVC is only 120 ml lower than curve #4 (orange) that is 3-seconds longer. Longer exhalations on these curves is unlikely to result in an FVC more than 150 ml higher than is observed, thus the computer FVC grade should be raised to C or QFVC=C and QFEV1=A. The FEV1 is not affected by the early termination and is very repeatable.
